Installation Information
Fixings should be installed correctly for the particular roofing profile and supporting structure. Always check that the screw length and fixing arrangement are suitable before installation.
Do Not Over-Tighten: Tighten the screw until the sealing washer sits firmly against the sheet. Do not over-compress the washer or deform the roofing sheet, as excessive pressure can damage the material and restrict its natural thermal movement.
Pre-Drilling: When installing PVC corrugated roofing, pre-drilling the fixing holes is recommended to allow for normal thermal movement of the sheet. Follow the manufacturer’s installation guidance for the particular roofing product.
Correct Fixing Position: Position fixings in accordance with the installation instructions for the roofing sheet being used. Fixings should be installed perpendicular to the sheet and securely into the supporting structure.
Suitable for Timber Supports: These fixings are intended for use where the corrugated roofing is being secured to suitable timber supports. Different fixings may be required when fixing corrugated sheets to metal or other substrates.
Important: The correct number, spacing and position of fixings will depend on the roofing profile, sheet length, support arrangement and site conditions. Always follow the manufacturer’s installation guidance for the roofing sheet.
