Installation Information

Natural Blue Tint: Clear PALRUF™ has a natural, very slight blue tint. This is a normal characteristic of the PVC and can appear more noticeable when multiple sheets are stacked together, as the colour becomes more concentrated through the layers. Once the sheets are separated and installed, the blue tint will generally appear much lighter. This does not affect the sheet’s performance or transparency and is not considered a defect.

Protect Wooden Purlins: When installing clear PALRUF™ sheets onto wooden purlins, apply white acrylic paint or aluminium tape to the top of the purlins. This helps prevent excessive heat build-up within the timber beneath the clear sheets.

PALRUF™ sheets should be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation guidance, including the recommended roof pitch, support spacing, overlaps and fixing method.

Important: Do not walk directly on the sheets during installation or maintenance. Use suitable crawling boards or roof ladders supported by the underlying structure where access is required.
