How to Install:

1️⃣Ensure Proper Support: Glazing bars are not load-bearing and should always be installed on a solid rafter structure, such as timber, to support both the glazing bar and the polycarbonate sheets.

2️⃣Secure the aluminium base bar onto a 50mm rafter using screws.
3️⃣Position your polycarbonate sheets onto the built-in gaskets.
4️⃣ Snap the PVC top cap into place for a secure, weatherproof finish.

Each bar includes one end cap. Need extra end caps? Order separately !

When installing glazing bars, it’s crucial to allow for proper spacing to accommodate water drainage, thermal expansion, and contraction. Follow these key guidelines to ensure a weather-tight, stress-free installation. Subtract 15mm from your calculated measurement to ensure a secure fit between the polycarbonate panel and the glazing bar. This prevents expansion-related stress.
