Trans-Blue PALRUF™ Greca Box Profile sheets provide a durable and lightweight roofing solution with a distinctive blue-tinted finish. The translucent colour allows natural daylight through the sheet while helping to soften the intensity of direct sunlight, making it a practical choice for a range of covered outdoor areas.
Manufactured from UV-resistant PVC, these 1.0mm sheets feature a Greca box profile that provides rigidity while keeping the panels lightweight and easy to handle. PALRUF™ is resistant to weathering, corrosion and a wide range of chemicals, making it suitable for both domestic and commercial applications.
The trans-blue finish is particularly useful where some natural light is required but a coloured appearance is preferred over clear roofing. Suitable applications include carports, pergolas, garden buildings, patio covers, entrance canopies, covered walkways and outdoor areas.
The sheets can be cut and drilled using suitable tools, allowing them to be adapted to suit the installation. Their lightweight construction and straightforward fixing method also make them suitable for DIY projects as well as professional installations.

Trans-Blue Colour: Trans-blue PALRUF™ has a naturally coloured translucent finish. The appearance of the blue can vary depending on the amount of light passing through the sheet and whether the sheets are viewed individually or stacked together. When several sheets are stacked, the colour will naturally appear darker due to the increased depth of material being viewed through.
Important: The trans-blue finish is part of the sheet’s intended appearance and is not a surface coating that should be removed.
Correct Fixings: Use suitable corrosion-resistant fixings with appropriate EPDM sealing washers. Fixings should be installed perpendicular to the sheet and must not be over-tightened, as this can damage the sheet and compromise the seal.
Pre-Drilling: Pre-drill fixing holes using a suitable drill bit and allow sufficient clearance for the natural thermal movement of the PVC. Do not force or stretch the sheets into position.
Fixing Pattern: PALRUF™ guidance recommends fixing at the appropriate corrugation crests, with additional stitching screws at the sheet overlaps where required. Always follow the fixing pattern recommended for the specific profile and installation.
Cutting: PALRUF™ can be cut using a jigsaw or circular saw fitted with a suitable fine-tooth blade. Support the sheet close to the cutting line and clean away cutting dust and debris once finished.
Storage: Store sheets flat, dry and shaded, protected from direct sunlight and rain. Avoid covering the stack with dark or heat-absorbing materials, and protect the sheets from physical damage during storage.
Do Not Walk on the Sheets: Do not step directly on PALRUF™ sheets during installation or maintenance. Use suitable stepping boards supported by the underlying structure where access is required.
Wooden Purlins: The manufacturer’s specific instruction to apply white acrylic paint or aluminium tape to wooden purlins applies to clear PALRUF™ sheets to help prevent overheating. For trans-blue PALRUF™, follow the manufacturer’s guidance for the specific application rather than automatically applying the clear-sheet instruction.
Always ensure the supporting structure, roof pitch, purlin spacing, overlaps and fixing arrangement are suitable for the particular installation.
