10mm White Opal Twinwall Polycarbonate Sheet

Our 10mm Twinwall Polycarbonate sheets are a high performance roofing and glazing solution designed for a wide range of domestic and commercial applications. Lightweight, easy to handle and highly durable, this material is commonly used for carport roofing, pergolas, conservatories, lean-to roofs and polytunnels.

With excellent light transmission, built-in UV1 protection and a Class 1 Fire Rating to BS476/7, 10mm multiwall polycarbonate provides a reliable alternative to traditional glazing materials. The UV-resistant surface helps protect the sheet from harmful UV radiation, reducing the risk of yellowing and helping maintain long-term clarity.

We recommend you don't exceed 700mm width sheets without the correct supports.

  • Materials may vary in brand depending on supplier availability. We cannot guarantee a specific manufacturer at the time of ordering.
  • These sheets are cut to your individual requirements and are therefore bespoke and non-returnable.

FAQ

How Strong is 10mm Polycarbonate?

Standard 10mm polycarbonate is over 200 times stronger than glass and 30 times stronger than plastic alternatives such as acrylic sheeting. Multiwall polycarbonate like our 10mm multiwall polycarbonate sheets have an impact resistance 250 times stronger than glass. Some claim that it is virtually unbreakable.

What Size are 10mm Multiwall Polycarbonate Sheets?

Our 10mm multiwall polycarbonate sheets come in a maximum size of 2100mm X 7000mm, however this can be cut to size to suit your requirements. Note that once they have been cut to size, they cannot be returned.

What’s the Difference Between Solid Polycarbonate Sheets and Multiwall Sheets?

The difference between multiwall sheets, like our 10mm multiwall polycarbonate sheets, and solid polycarbonate sheets is that solid polycarbonate is a single, solid layer. Multiwall has at least two layers that look a little like cardboard in structure. Multiwall is ideal for outdoor use. Typically, it has excellent thermal properties, trapping heat between the “walls”, and also blocks UV radiation.

Can You Walk on 10mm Polycarbonate Sheets?

Whilst 10mm multiwall polycarbonate sheets are incredibly strong and durable, we don’t recommend walking on them under any circumstances as they are also somewhat flexible, meaning that they could bend under the weight of a person.
