Glazing bars are useful when installing polycarbonate panels to ensure they are fitted correctly and firmly. You can fit these panels with confidence by using a range of glazing bar types to suit your needs. The self supporting glazing bar is used for lean-tos normally, applied for conservatory roofs, canopies and carports. Usually, these glazing bars would be placed between a wall plate and an eavesbeam fixed at the front of the roof. This would be secured then by a PVC top cap.
As with all of these glazing bars, the panels have to be clamped or screwed down and the snapdown glazing bars do just that, securing the polycarbonate panels.
White and brown glazing bars and end caps to help with the installation of our polycarbonate sheet products and additional accessories available also include sheet closures, end caps, f-sections, fixing buttons plus adhesive and tape.
