Solid Polycarbonate

All of our Solid Polycarbonate Sheets combines superior impact resistance and clarity, making it the material of choice for many demanding applications. It is virtually unbreakable and as transparent as glass but is half the weight of glass. However, as we discuss the main differences between polycarbonate vs acrylic, we know that there are similarities to both but where each offers it's own key benefits.

The main benefits of using Solid Polycarbonate Sheets are that it is high impact resistant, weather and UV Resistant, blocks harmful UV radiation, lightweight, easy to handle and has good acoustical insulation properties. It is also used for medical equipment including eyewear and headgear, utilising polycarbonate lenses across various products.

We sell a different selection of Polycarbonate Sheets which include Palsun™, Palgard™, and also a Georgian Wired Effect Polycarbonate Sheet.

Polycarbonate is commonly know and reffered to many brand names including Lexan, Makrolon.
